February (6, 8) and (7, 9) The letter focus will be P. The students are invited to wear their Pajamas on Monday/Tuesday and bring their favorite stuffed animal. On the second day of class we will talk about panda bears and penguins and other black and white animals. We will discuss patterns, specifically the AB pattern.
February (13 Valentines party,15) and (14 Valentines party,16) The letter focus will be Q. We will have a Valentines performance and
party. We will be making mailboxes in class, please
bring a Valentine card for each member of the class. Ask Mrs. Lesley for a class list if you have not received one. The performance will start at
11:30. On the first day of class we will discuss Queens and royalty. We will also talk about good manners. On the second day of class we will talk about quilts and continue learning about patterns, as well as, counting review.
February (20, 22) ad (21, No class on Thursday 23 due to Rodeo Vacation) The letter of the
week is R. We will talk about the rodeo and its significance to the Tucson
community. We will read about the rodeo and participate in some rodeo activities, we will also eat some cowboy food. If your child has boots feel free to have them wear them!
February ( 27, 29) and (28, March 1) The letter of the week is S. We will
have a slithering good time as we discuss snakes. We will discuss the different kinds of snacks, their sizes, their colors and their patterns. We will have a great time discussing these amazing reptiles.

will be a field trip sometime in February; I am waiting to hear back from the
Tucson Fire Department to let me know the date.
