In January we will highlight the color white, the shape octagon and the number 6.
January 5-7: We will talk about friendship and how to make and be a friend.
January 12-14: The theme this week is the letter M. We will talk about monkeys.
January 19-21: The theme this week is the letter N. We will discuss nests.
January 26-28: The theme this week is the letter O. We will talk about oceans and octopus.
In February we will highlight the color pink, the shape heart and the number 7.
February 2-4: The theme for the week is P, we will talk about pigs. Pajama Day on Thursday! Wear your favorite pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal!
February 9-11: The theme of the week is Valentines! We will have a valentine exchange and performance on Thursday and even a special visit from the friendly Queen of Hearts !
February 16-18: The theme of the week is Q. we will talk about queens and quilts.
February 23: We will talk about the state of Arizona and the rodeo! No school on Wed and Thursday for rodeo holiday (its a Tucson thing!).
In March we will highlight the color yellow, the shape square and the number 8.
March 1-3: The theme for the week is the letter R. We will talk about rockets and even launch some!
March 8-10: The theme for the week is cultures around the world.
March 15-17: SPRING BREAK no school
March 22-24: The theme for the week is the letter S. We will discuss the many different spiders.
March 29-31: The theme for the week is the letter T. We will discuss tigers.
In April we will highlight the color purple, the shape rectangle and the number 9.
April 5-7: The theme for the week is the letter U. We will talk about the universe.
April 12-13: No school on Thursday. We will talk about safety.
April 19-21: The theme for the week is letter V. We will talk about volcanoes and erupt one!
April 26-28: The theme for the week is letter W. We will talk about the water cycle.
In May we will highlight the color orange, the shape rumbas and the number 10.
May 3-5: The theme for the week is the letter X. X marks the spot, its pirate week!!!
May 10-12: The theme for the week is the letter Y. We will discuss yarn and yo yo's.
May 17-19: The theme for the week is the letter Z. We will talk about zoo's and zebras.
May 24-26: The theme for the week is review. We will also have a water party!!
