The week of August 2nd we will discuss apples! We will talk about how they grow, the varieties of apples and we will even get to use a special apple peeler! Our song this week will be Make New Friends and our book will be Pete the Cat and 10 Apples up on Top.
The week of August 9th we will discuss butterflies and bees. We will talk about the life cycle of a butterfly and identify the different species of butterflies. Our song will be I'm Bringing Home My Baby Bubble Bee. We will read a book about insects.
The week of august 16th we will discuss crocodiles! We will learn about their habitats and their life cycle. We will also read about some very silly crocodiles. The song we will learn is 5 Little Monkeys and our book will be The Very hungry Crocodile
The week of August 23rd we will talk about dogs! We will make dog tags and even come home looking like one! We will learn to sing BINGO and read about Dirty Harry.
The week of August 30th we will learn about Labor Day and honor all the jobs that American citizens can have! We will read about a bunch of different professions and occupations!
